In Memory Of
DaVonte Jaron Curry
1992 - 2021
Davonte was a beloved son, grandson, uncle, cousin and friend. He was definitely one of a kind. To know Davonte was to know his smile that could light up any room. His calm spirit was to let everyone around him know that everything would be okay. God has called Davonte to his final destination letting all his family and friends know that his job in the physical being had been completed.
Davonte was loved by many people but he has went to join his "Memaw" in Heaven. Esther Bell Baker was sitting at the Heavens gates waiting patiently to embrace her "Billy". Esther would call Davonte Billy for as long as she lived.
Davonte grew up enjoying playing basketball with his cousins and friends. He played at Walnut Street Baptist Church and also Southwick Community Center. In High school he played basketball for Central High School.
Davonte leaves behind his mother, Lakisha Curry, his father, Terrell Hargrove, his siblings, Sha'Trell Curry, his brothers, Terrell Hargrove and Antoine Bell. His uncle, Wayne Baker. A host of cousins, Antonio Russell , D'Angelo Russell, Lashawn Gilliam, Tayshaun Brown, Veseana Moran, and Vesean Baker. Davonte also leaves behind a host of friends including bestfriends Ronnie Jones and Ricardo Hayden.
We love you and miss you until eternity Davonte.
