1959 - 2021

Roger Vincent Hagedorn, 61, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021. He was the co-owner of Hagedorn Collision Center. Roger was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and KofC Cardinal Ritter Council #1221. He enjoyed cooking and spending time outdoors hunting and gardening, and loved spending time with his family and friends.

He was born on February 19, 1959, in New Albany, Indiana, to Mary Augusta (Hauser) Hagedorn and the late Raymond Hagedorn. In addition to his mother, Roger is survived by his wife, Carol Ann (Spalding) Hagedorn; children, Aaron Hagedorn, Emily Luzano (Tim), and Hannah Stone (Mark); siblings, Eugene Hagedorn, Joseph Hagedorn (Linda), Ronald Hagedorn (Sondra), Debra Huber (Gary), Denise Batliner (Thomas), and Cheryl Pearce (Paul); grandchildren, Haley and Grant Hagedorn and Owen Stone; great-granddaughter, Ella; daughter-in-law, Christy Hagedorn; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a prayer service taking place at 7:15 p.m. His funeral mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. on Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church (415 E. 8th Street, New Albany) with burial to follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in New Albany.
