In Memory Of
Dominick Burton Thompson
1997 - 2020

Dominick Burton Thompson, 23, made peace with his life here on earth on December 02, 2020.

Dominick was born in Louisville, Kentucky to Paula and Kent Thompson on June 19th, 1997. Dominick was a dedicated employee at Sandys Pet Shop, and developed a profound love for all the animals he was surrounded with. His average day consisted of hiking and exploring, riding his skateboard, discovering new music, working on his cars, tending to his animals, and spending time with his loved ones. Dominick was considered the class clown, and never left the room without putting a smile on your face. He excelled in engineering, building, and finding a way to turn anything into a joke. His Jeep, Miss Daisy & trusty companion Moose, were his pride and joy.

Dominick’s heart was full of love and acceptance, and when you were in his presence, you felt safe and loved. He left an impressionable mark on every person he met. During this uncertain time, we find solace knowing Dominick will be flying high and watching over the village that mourns him greatly. You were Fearfully, Perfectly & Wonderfully Made. Your wings were ready, but we were not. Forever, you will be our Sunshine.

Dominick is survived and deeply missed by his parents, Paula and Kent Thompson; his sister, Leighanna Thompson; and his nephews, Aero & Artist Basel-Bibbs.

A private funeral service will be held on Saturday 12/12/2020 to celebrate the life Dominick so fully lived. Donations may be offered at here
