Ronald Schweitzer, 74, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2020. He was born on August 24, 1946 in Watertown, New York to the late Harry and Wilma Schweitzer. Ron was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. In his free time he loved to do anything that could be done outdoors: gardening, wood working, camping and hunting. For many years, he and his wife owned Schweitzer Construction Company and they enjoyed RV life while traveling throughout the south. He was a devoted husband and a loving Father and Grandfather who cherished any time spent with his family.

In addition to his parents, Ron is preceded in death by his brothers, Reginald Schweitzer and Craig Schweitzer.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 53 years, Judy Schweitzer; his children, Shelly (JR Boone) Charlier and Travis (Laurie) Schweitzer; grandchildren, Michael Charlier, Caitlyn Charlier, Sebastian Schweitzer, Colton Schweitzer and Trevin Boone; a great-grandson, Camden Charlier; and 3 siblings, Wayne Schweitzer, Steve Schweitzer and Sharon Crump.
