George Thomas "Doc" Bell
1963 - 2020

George Thomas "Doc" Bell, age 57 of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020.
He was bon o March 19, 1963 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late George and Mary (Little) Bell. He is preceded into Eternal Life by his sister, Tosca Bell; and sister, Patricia Wilson.

George is survived by his children; Christopher Williams and Dominique Bell. His siblings; brother, Willie Joe Bell, sister, Mattie Adams, brother, Major Bell, sister, Alberta Shepard, sister, May Joe Joes, sister, Ruth Ann Bell, sister, Bobbie Renae Bell; uncles, Nathaniel Bell, James Little;
and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

George loved Jehovah and was a member of the Portland congregation of the Kingdom Hall, but he also had a love and respect for the people! He knew all flavors of people simply by gifting them with a rose. He was a son, brother, husband, father, uncle and if none of those fit, A True Friend. George traveled often with siblings and talked about moving to Maryland with his daughter and fiancé (Jess), He had plenty things to be don about but never let that hold him for long. He worked
with what he had and always made a way. Often times he would do without just to help others.

If you caught him in passing he would be walking or on a beach cruiser. Bikes were his choice of transportation. His nephew Greg even gifted him a Schwinn in the 90’s. George “Doc” is a true “Louisville Legend” and will forever remain in our hearts.

The level of unconditional love George held was truly one of a kind.

Visitation will be 3 to 5 pm on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky (in Middletown), with a Celebration of Life to follow at 5 pm.
