Jeremy Michael Cavalcante, 37, of Fairdale, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020. He was born on September 28, 1982 in Cincinnati. He attended high school at Orleans High School and was a member of the Orleans Marching Band. He was an incredibly hard worker and was employed at Ya Needa Kitchen in Louisville where he built and installed cabinetry. He was a member of Orleans Christian Church. Jeremy enjoyed any chance he got to spend with the children in his family, but nothing made him happier than spending time with his son, Mason. He was an avid U of L, NASCAR, Bengals and Reds fan. Foremost, he loved his family.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Joan Cavalcante and Judith V. Pavey; uncles, Todd Cavalcante and Craig Cavalcante; and an aunt, Wanda K. Cox.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Mason Scott Cavalcante; parents, Scott (Deborah) Cavalcante and Beth Ann (Steve) May; siblings, Joshua D. (Jessica) Cavalcante, Erin E. (Jamey) Lanzalaco, Kimberly K. (Kris) Cooper, Ryan E. (Jennifer) Stites, Joseph Graham and Jeanette (Mark) denDekker; aunt, Kristie (Mike) Shriver; uncle, James (Terri) May; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends who all loved him very dearly.

A memorial service to celebrate Jeremy's life will take place at a later date.

Memorial contributions can be made to Jeremy's Father to help offset final expenses and to go into a trust fund for Jeremy's son, Mason.
