Ronald David Foster, 72, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020. David was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired from Reynolds Metal Company (Alcoa) after 33+ years of employment. He was an avid IU fan and especially loved Coach Bobby Knight. His favorite color was purple and enjoyed listening to Roy Orbison.

He was born on February 21, 1948 in Milltown, Indiana to the late Floyd Foster and Mary Kathleen Nice. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Cristina Foster.

David is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Maria Paz Fernandez Foster; sons, Michael D. Foster and Jason R. Foster; brother, Larry Wayne (Cindy) Foster; granddaughter, Kelsie Foster; grandson, Curtis Foster; and many family and friends.

Cremation was chosen following David's wishes.
