My friend Patty always had a beautiful smile on her face. She was so kind to everyone and one of those people you were just drawn to from the first time you met her. Her love of nature was amazing and I learned so much from her. I'm so sorry Dan, Brian and Brad and families for your great loss. Everyone loved Patty. We will all miss her.

I was Patty’s hairdresser, I enjoyed many years of cutting her hair and catching up with how each of our families were doing. She was one of the sweetest people I had the pleasure of knowing. My heart goes out to her family & friends.

I remember Patty's beautiful voice in choir at the Peculiar United Methodist Church. Many years ago when I was new to the area, she welcomed me into her home. I remember her love of gardening including native plants, as well as her love of monarch butterflies. We shared our love for those things, we shared our knowledge and we shared plants. I know how much she loved Dan, her children, and all her family. Although I have been away from Peculiar and we have only connected by Facebook in recent years, I will miss her and her love for so much of life.

Patty, how I will miss your sweet sweet smile and spirit. What fun we had all those years ago, singing in church- duets, ensembles, and in choir. The trials raising our boys together. They sure kept us on our knees praying. Our Sunday school get togethers, Camino....so many wonderful memories. Dan, Brian and family, Brad and family, there truly are no words to express my deep sympathy and sorrow for you all. My prayer is that God will surround you all in His comfort and peace. May you each be comforted with a lifetime of wonderful memories of time spent together. Love, hugs, and prayers to you all.

I never had the pleasure of meeting this lovely lady but my husband, Bob, shared so many of his fond memories of her when he was growing up that I feel like I knew her and how special she was to so many!!! My heart is broken for her family and friends! I'm thinking you all!! Very sorry for your loss! <3

Dan when I saw this on FB I could not believe what I was seeing. I talked with Patty the first of the month to see how her mother was. She then told me of her passing. Another time she said she was coming to help Terry with her house and other things. Said she would keep me informed as to when her memorial service would be so I could attend. Ann and I worked together at Ft. Knox. I knew she come home sick & was in hospital but I just can’t believe this. I am loss for words. Dan just hold on to your faith and I am praying for your entire family. Please let me know when their memorial service will be and if I can help in any way. GOD Bless You and give you strength and comfort .

Dan, Terry and families. I can't even begin to imagine your pain at the loss of beautiful and sweet Patty. The good news is she is celebrating her life in Heaven with her loved ones that went before. The hard part is the pain of having her ripped out of your life so suddenly. She will be with you always and especially in the days to come. Feel her love and comfort that will help you get through her death just as sure as the love and comfort that she has so freely given you all your time together.
Love and blessings for all, Cousin Joan

The first time I saw grandma honey since I was about knee high she gave me a hug and told me a couple stories about me when I was little and the handed me a strawberry and said “you still love strawberries right” I know it’s cliche but the fact that after all those years she still remembered.. I miss you grandma and love you so much...We will all see you soon..

Patty and I were classmates at North Hardin High School in Vine Grove, Kentucky, and graduated together on 1969. I know we had several classes together during our years together, but most memorable was being in chorus together our junior and senior years. While I was the pianist and didn't get to sing much with her, we still made sure to have fun. So glad we were able to see each other at our 50th class reunion last fall.

You were such a wonderful friend. I still remember going to your home for lunch during our lunch breaks when we were in middle school together. Grilled cheese and sweet pickles. ??
