She was born on February 4, 1934, in Camp Taylor, Kentucky, to the late Daniel and Clara (Wilberding) Baugh. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Ruby Robinson, Catherine Hamilton, Beatrice Smith, El Wanda Fenton, Doris Coimore, Diane Baugh, Chester Baugh, and Herbert Baugh; and grandchildren, Michael Sims and Angela Stith.
Sarah is survived by her loving husband, Raymond Stith, Sr.; children, Lisa (Jack) King, Teresa Sims, Raymond (Stacy) Stith, Jr., and Terry (Darold Frakes) Stith; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions - New Albany. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2020, at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church in Floyds Knobs with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family requests that contributions in Sarah’s memory be made to the WHAS Crusade for Children.
