Billie Jean (McIntosh) Hill, 80, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2020. She was a member of St. Stephen's Church, Jeffersonville, Indiana campus. Billie was talented at home decorating and deeply loved her children and grandchildren.
She was born on September 7, 1939 in Osceola, Arkansas to the late Charles and Catherine (Robinson) McIntosh. Billie was also preceded in death by her siblings, Amidra, Sammie Howard, Charles and Tommy.
Billie is survived by her children, Cathy Scrivner (Kirk), George Hill, III (Aprill); siblings, Emma Ruth, Robert, Lena, Catherine, Rose, Betty, Debra; grandchildren, Brandon Pearson, Kelly Hill-Wade (Craig), Tamara Pearson, Erin Scrivner-Hinkle (Craig), Evan Scrivner; great-grandchildren, Craig Wade, Victoria Crockett, Kelsey Wade; former husband, George Hill, Jr.; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Billie's wishes were to be cremated and Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with her care. In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, the family plans to announce a celebration of Billie's life at a later date.
