Candace Gene "Candi" (Youtsey) Smallwood, 53, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away at her home with her family by her side on Sunday, April 5, 2020. Candi was a member of Shawnee Baptist Church, where she was known for being active in the church family, and was previously the cook at SBC. She was also known for her amazing cooking and recipe sharing. Of all her pastimes, her favorite was spending time with her grandchildren.

She was born on April 23, 1966 in VanWert, Ohio to the late Charles, Sr. and Clara (Parsons) Youtsey.

Candi is survived by her loving husband, Anthony "Randy" Smallwood; daughters, Staci (Josh) Nolan, Cameron (Randy) Padilla, and Kourtlyn Smallwood; grandchildren, Brock Nolan, Brody Nolan, Addisyn Nolan, Audrey Nolan, Clara Mae Padilla, and Carter Padilla; siblings, Sue (Ron) Carlisle, Earl (Connie) Giles, Charles "Chuck" (Jacky) Youtsey, Jr., Susie Warren, Christine Youtsey, Cheryl (Denny) Carlisle, Cindy (Alan) Conner, and Claudine (Mike) Graham; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Her Visitation and Funeral Service will be held privately with burial to follow at the Edwardsville-Tunnel Hill Cemetery in Edwardsville, Indiana.

The family requests that contributions in Candi’s memory be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
