Ruth Elinor Miller, 85, of Vine Grove, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2020. She was born on May 5, 1934, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Joseph and Virginia Schenck. She enjoyed doing puzzles, watching Christmas movies year round, fishing, and painting. She was a proud Breast Cancer Survivor two times. She had a very large family and she loved each and every one of them more than they knew.

In addition to her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by her son, Joseph Timothy Cline; her sister, Sharon Sunday; and her stepchildren, Franklin Burba and Marrell Thomas Burba.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Michael Cline, Ronnie (Pam) Cline, Tommy (Lynn) Cline, Brenda (David) Strothman, and Vickie (Charles) Poole; stepchildren, Phyllis Davis, Lois Cave, Ricky Burba, Helen (Tim) Vessels, and Rocky Burba; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and one on the way; a brother, Jimmy (Kay) Schenck; and a host of extended family.

A service to celebrate Ruth's life will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 26, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). The family will accept guests for visitation at the funeral home prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
