Franklin was able to donate his cornea's to The Kentucky Lions Eye Bank, and give sight to someone in need. Frank will be remembered as a kind and thoughtful man who will be missed by so many. Frank loved to fish, read, and recall events that brought laughter to others as well as himself.
He was born on May 24, 1961 in Gratz, Kentucky to Franklin and Jessie Stephens. He is preceded in death by his Father, Franklin R. Stephens, Sr., and Brother, Steven Stephens.
Franklin is survived by his loving Wife, Stacy Stephens, Mother, Jessie Mae Stephens, Daughter, Chelsea Stephens, Son, Chris (Ann) Mullins, Daughter, Amanda Ridgell, Daughter, Ashlee Ridgell, and Son, Jesse (Laura) Ridgell, Brother, John (Yuli) Stephens, and Sister, Debra (Caleb) Goins, 8 grandchildren, and his favorite fur buddy, Charlie.
A gathering for Franklin's family and friends will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy), with a celebration of his life to follow at 4:00 pm.
