Jackie Marie (Skeens) Jenkins, 45, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019. Jackie loved music, especially the band Queen. She was very gifted at crafts, especially her wreaths. Jackie worked as a security officer at Caesar's where she had many friends.

She was born on March 21, 1974, in New Albany, Indiana. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ben Luckett. Jr., and Viola Luckett; maternal great-grandparents, Lillian and Joe Grose; and paternal grandparents, Emma and Herman Skeens.

Jackie is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Curtis Jenkins, who affectionately called her his "North Star." Also surviving is her parents, Raymond and Mary Skeens; son, Zach Butcher; daughter, Kelsey (Autumn) Skeens; brothers, Earl (Brandi) Skeens and Jason (Jennifer) Skeens; sister, Chrissy (Brian) Fields; brothers-in-law, Jeremy Jenkins and Shawn (Nicole) Jenkins; sister-in-law, Ledia Jenkins; mother-in-law, Robyn Lane; father-in-law, John (Dianna) Jenkins; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). Her Funeral Service will be at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
