John C. Johnson Jr., 60, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2019. He was born on February 16, 1959 in Louisville, to John and Dora (Croomes) Johnson. John loved to fish and spend time with his family. He was an Army veteran.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Dora F. Johnson; a nephew, Larry D. Johnson.

Left to cherish his memory is his children, Tremont (Erica Wickliffe) Campbell, Nicola (Frederick) Thompson, Cody Dalton and Travis Dalton; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; father, John C. Johnson, Sr.; sister, Jacqueline Owens; niece, Laticia Johnson; great nieces, Kyrene Johnson and Alaya Johnson; and a special friend Karen Richardson.

A service to celebrate John's life will take place at 12:00 pm on Friday, December 13, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions- Southwest Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, with burial to follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central) in Radcliff, Kentucky. The family will accept guests for visiting before the celebration service from 10:00 am until the time of service.
