Wanda Lee (Atherton) Burnett, 65, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019. She enjoyed collecting many different types of things, as well as hosting events for her neighbors. Wanda was a member of Graceland Baptist Church in New Albany.

She was born on April 25, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Henry and Cecilia (Gibson) Atherton. Wanda was also preceded in death by her husband, William Burnett. She is survived by her siblings, Ronald Atherton (LaVon), Deborah Atherton; niece, Michelle Stradtner (Michael); and her four-legged companion, Duck.

Cremation was chosen and Wanda will be laid to rest privately with her husband in Leitchfield, Kentucky. Contributions in Wanda’s memory may be made to her family in care of the funeral home.
