Marilyn Cestaric, 79, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, July 25th, 2019. Marilyn was a retired waitress from Kingfish where she was known for her dedication and commitment to her job for over 40+ years of service. In her tenure with Kingfish, she worked at multiple locations across the Louisville area. Her goal was to provide the best customer service possible to show you were valued as a customer. In her early years, she was known for racing cars and enjoying family. She was known for collecting salt & pepper shakers, owls, & glass blown figurines. After retiring from Kingfish, she enjoyed spending time with family and her dog.

She was born on January 14, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois to Albert and Vera (Kalber) Schmitt. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Stephen T. Cestaric, daughters Genieve Siracusa, Carmen Watson - Scott, and Denise Kinkton.
Marilyn is survived by her son, Paul (Sara) Cestaric, daughter, Debbie (Robert) McMichen, and son, Kenneth Watson. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 11:00am on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with Entombment to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, KY.

The family requests that contributions in Marilyn’s memory to be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
