Chantel Grinter, 46, of Louisville, passed away June 4, 2019, with her family by her side at St. Mary's and Elizabeth Hospital. She was born to Frederick Nelson and Lillie Grinter, January 1, 1973, in Louisville, KY.

She is survived by her parents, and five children; Maurice (Shacoia) Grinter, of Louisville; Deshawn Grinter, of Louisville; Chalese Grinter, of Louisville; Mendell Grinter, of Tennessee; and Devontez Grinter, of Louisville and 11 grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Robert Grinter, III; Michael (Sidra) Grinter, of North Carolina; Lisa Mullins, of Louisville; Donald Grinter, of Las Vegas, NV; Cherronda Grinter, of Georgia; Thomas Grinter, of Louisville; Tiffany Grinter, of Louisville; Sederick Nelson, of Louisville; Frederick Lee Nelson, of Louisville; Tiffany R. Taylor, of Louisville, and many other loving relatives.

Visitation will be Monday, June 10, 2019, at Broadway Temple AME Zion Church, 1301 W. Broadway, Louisville, KY, from 10am-12pm with a celebration of Chantel's life beginning at 12pm.

Burial will follow at Green Meadows Cemetery, 3800 Shanks Lane, Louisville, KY.
