1927 - 2019

Rosaline (Timberlake) Eldridge Davis, 91, of Lanesville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019. Rose was an avid quilter and charter member of the Southern Indiana Quilt Guild. She also attended Lanesville Mount Zion United Methodist Church and RSVP - Hope Southern Indiana. Rose enjoyed traveling as she was able to visit areas of Canada, Mexico and a vast majority of the United States.

She was born on August 18, 1927 in Harrison County, Indiana to the late Joseph and Esther (Lockman) Timberlake. Along with her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her husbands, William Eldridge, Charles Davis; siblings, Mary Lee Blankenship, Hazel Kelley, William, Arlie, and Lester Timberlake, Doris Allen, Lois Ruberts, and Esther Jo Stewart.

Rose is survived by her daughter, Ada Davidson (Douglas); sisters, Evelyn McRae, Dora Seeley, Betty Woertz (Wayne); grandchildren, Michael Davidson (Adri), Monica Davidson; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Cremation was chosen and a reception of family and friends will be from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with her memorial service taking place at 4:00 p.m.
