Eric "Keithy" Gardner, 58, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019. Eric was always connecting with friends and family on Facebook. Keithy was an avid dominoes player who loved to sing and joke.

He was born on February 12, 1961 in Louisville, Kentucky to Edmond and Josephine (Simon) Gardner. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother John Gardner, sisters, Carrie Gillium, and Arinda Gardner.

Eric is survived by his sisters, Kimberly Gardner, Michelle Gardner, and Jeannine Gardner, brothers, Ricky Simon, Stephan Walker, and Edmond "Junie" Gardner. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory his nieces, Mechelle Gardner, Demaria Gardner, Enija Gardner, Landrea Cooper, Joeliey Gardner, Joelieah Gardner, and Dakesha Gardner, nephews, Eric Gardner, Christopher Gardner, Cortney Stone, Demarcus Gardner, and Marqule Gardner. Keithy is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at Newcomer, Cremations, Funerals and Receptions Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272). His funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at the Funeral Home.
