Chyron Lorenzo Young was born on Tuesday, August 4, 1969 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Darrell Ferman and Sandra Jean Young.
Chyron professed his hope in Christ and was baptized at St. Stephens Church. He graduated from Seneca High School in 1987; attended the University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville; is a member of the Prince Hall Masonic family; is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated (Alpha
Omicron Chapter); and was a dedicated employee at PPG (Porter Paints) and Zeochem located in Louisville, Kentucky.
Chyron experienced his greatest blessing in life when his son, Braxton Chyron Young was born (former wife Nikiia Young). He is survived by his son, Braxton.
He is also survived by his loving companion, Shirlane (Shay) Warrick; two bonus children, Jazmine and Justice Warrick; his sisters, Camesha (Meme) Young, Nyasha (Kim) Young, Niki McElroy; nephews, Devontay and Isaiah Cross, Jordan Carpenter; nieces, Cephira and Cylia Parker and a host of uncles, aunts, relatives and friends. Chyron’s best friends are Braxton’s godparents, Roy “Junie” and Heather Sutton.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at Little Flock Missionary Baptist Church, 1030 S. Hancock Street, Louisville, KY, from 10am-11am with a Homegoing service beginning at 11am.
Burial will follow at Green Meadows Cemetery, 3800 Shanks Lane, Louisville, KY.
