He was born on January 5, 1947 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Elmer and Yetta (Goldstein) Wieber.
Allen was an insurance business owner prior to retirement and in his early years he served his country in Vietnam in the U.S. Army earning 3 Bronze Service Stars; Republic of Vietnam Campaign Metal and National Defense Service Metal. He was an incredible husband, loving son and phenomenal son-in-law, uncle and brother-in-law.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Donna Wieber, along with an extended loving family and friends.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243) visitation will follow services until 7:00 pm that evening.
The family requests that contributions in Allen’s memory be made to VFW Post 1170 (107 North Evergreen Road Louisville, KY 40243) and/or the Kentucky Humane Society (1000 Lyndon Lane Suite B, Louisville KY 40222).
