Nadine Davis, 83, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at Baptist Palliative Care Center, under Hosparus of Louisville care. Nadine was a member of Valley View Church.

She was born on January 20, 1936 in Letcher County Kentucky, but spent most of her adult life in Louisville. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Cinda Banks, Brothers, Delbert Frazier, Crevin Banks, Cecil Banks, Boyd Banks and Lloyd Banks, Sisters, Delma Brashears, Thelma Whitaker, Hazel Whitaker, Daisy Maggard, Gracie Fields, Stella Dixon and Dorothy York.

Nadine is survived by her loving Husband of 57 years, William Davis, Daughter, Kimberly Davis, Son, Kevin (Karen) Davis, Grandchildren, Kayla and Olivia Davis, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and close friends.

Nadine lived her life with no regrets. She loved her family and friends with a fierce devotion and was never afraid to speak her mind. Her life was for her children and granddaughters. She spent her life in service to those around her and left a great example to follow. She will be missed.

A gathering for family and friends will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A celebration of her life will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, at the funeral home, with the service conducted by Nadine's nephew, Richard York.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Palliative Care Center at Baptist Health East, Hosparus, the Food Pantry at Valley View Church, or a favorite charity.
