Everett Eugene Greenwood, Sr. 88, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2019. Everett was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1181, American Legion Post 148 (West Point), Local 576 Building & Trades Union.

He was born on May 31, 1930 in Stevensport, Kentucky to Leo and Martha Greenwood. He is preceded in death by his parents, Brothers, George Greenwood, Larney Earl Greenwood, Robert Greenwood, and Joe Greenwood, Sisters, Lois Voyles, Teresa Alexander, and Mary Florence Henderson.

Everett is survived by his loving Wife of 25 years, Patricia Ann Greenwood, Daughters: Diana (Terry) Guffey, and Denise (Andrew) Davis, Sons: Everett Buster Greenwood, Jr., and Steven Greenwood, Step-Daughters: Sherry (Rick) Blackwell, and Vicki (Steven) Jenkins, Step-Son, Joe Cook, Sister, Rita Hedinger, Brother, Leo Harold Greenwood, 11 Grandchildren, 12 Great-Grandchildren.

A gathering for family and friends will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, April 22, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A celebration of his life will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
