He was born on January 2, 1941 in Jefferson County, Kentucky to the late James and Mary Day.
Arthur is survived by his loving siblings, Anna Duke and James William Day, Jr. (Peggy); nieces, Melissa Hall (Brian), Amanda Day and Allison Day; nephews, Mark Day (Gina), Matthew Day (Dara) and Richard Ping (Brittany).
Visitation will be from 1 pm to 3 pm on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, (1403 South Park Road, Fairdale, KY 40118), with a memorial service to follow at 3 pm at church.
The family requests that contributions in Arthur’s memory be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
