Kayde Sue Faulkenburg, 15, of Pekin, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. Kayde was a sophomore at Borden High School where she was a member of the Lady Braves basketball, volleyball, softball, and track teams. She was a member of the Big Springs Church of Christ in Salem. In her spare time, she loved to mud bog, four wheel, hunt and fish, and trap shoot.

She was born on July 21, 2003, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to Troy Faulkenburg and Dodi Vick. She is preceded in death by her brother, Brandon Faulkenburg; and grandparents, Marshall and Sherry Faulkenburg.

Along with her parents, Kayde is survived by her siblings, Tanner (Makenzie Baylor) Faulkenburg and Chelsi (Mathie) Wright; grandparents, Delbert and Marilyn Vick; niece, Paislee; nephew, Gannon; aunts, Stacey Vick, Shelly Redford, and Kelly Andres; uncle Leon Faulkenburg; and numerous cousins and friends.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). Her Funeral Service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Atkins Chapel Cemetery in Floyds Knobs, Indiana.
