Jamy Lansing, 37, of Shelbyville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2019.

He was born on December 27, 1981 in Denver, Colorado to Mark and Terry (Alford) Lansing. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers Donald Lansing, Milton Alford, grandmother Margaret Loyd and father-in-law Mark W. Avery.

Jamy had a big passion for art, was warmhearted, caring and had an amazing sense of humor.

Jamy is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Virginia Ann Lansing, son Joseph Reynolds, father, Mark Steven Lansing, mother, Terry Alford Lansing, brother Eric Lansing, grandmother Janet Lansing and mother-in-law Sally A. Avery.

Jamy will be missed but not forgotten he loved to be the know-it-all in the room if he didn't know something he would figure it out from video games to science even technology he was always there to help you.

A small private celebration of Jamy's life will be held at a later date.
