Margaret Louise (Biesel) Boman, 72, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away at her home on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She loved to play cards, especially Texas-Hold-Em and Hand and Foot. Louise also enjoyed shopping, going to the YMCA, traveling, and spending time with her long-time friends at her class luncheons.

She was born on March 10, 1946 in Louisville, Kentucky to Charles "Chet" and Margaret (Fischer) Biesel Baird. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James "Bill" William Boman; brother, John William Biesel.

Louise is survived by son, Tom (Nancy) Boman; son, Tim (Tammy) Boman; sister, Marian Schepers; sister in-law, Stella Biesel; grandchildren, Abby (Chris) Anderson, Robbie Boman, Jason (Kelly) Case and Brooke Boman; great-grandchildren, Parker Kennett, Brandon Anderson and Max Anderson.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). Her Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at St. Anthony Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

The family requests that contributions in Louise’s memory be made to the American Cancer Society (1640 Lyndon Farm Ct, Suite 104, Louisville, KY 40223), American Heart Association (3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674), or Amedisys (305 Quartermaster Ct, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
