Sondra Lea Daugherty-Rogers, age 72 of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019. Sondra was a graduate of Butler High School. She was a Christian by faith. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandbabies. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernal and Helen Ruth Slaughter Vincent.

Sondra is survived by her husband and companion of 27 years, Bob Rogers; her daughter, Kristi Mingus (Michael); step-children, Jordan Durall (Kayla), Cole Mingus, Angela Cunningham (Michael), Leeah Rogers-Emberton (Brian), Crissy Rogers, Stephanie Embury and Rebecca Embury; 7 granddaughters, 3 grandsons; sister, Joyce O’Dell (Lavon); aunts, Betty Moore and Mildred Harrell; 2 nephews, 1 niece; sister-in-law, Beverly Rogers and Brenda Riggs (Dale); mother-in-law, Barbara Rogers; and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 4 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown and from 9:30 am Wednesday until time of service at 11 am. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington, Kentucky.
