In Memory Of
Jien Dale Aquino

Jien Dale Aquino, despite his early age of 13, has lived a generous life providing warmth, concern and laughter to his family, teachers, classmates and friends.

He was born on June 5, 2005 in Moncada, Tarlac, Philippines. He attended Blossom Forth Academy in Angeles City, Philippines. In April of 2018, together with his family, he moved to Louisville, Kentucky where he attended middle school at Newcomer Academy. He dreamed of becoming a pilot one day, and the UPS hub in Louisville, KY turned out to be just the right playground for his imaginative mind; where often he spent weekends with his father parked by the end of the airport runway glancing and googling at every aircraft and arguing about the type of plane or where the flight came from. Oh, how his father loved to tease him!

Jien is survived by his parents, Joel and Nancy; grandmother Amy; aunts Dayna and Daisy; a host of relatives and friends who remember him as the playful little-big kid with a one-of-a-kind childish peskiness that made him such an adorable sweet thing.

Visitation will be 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. Funeral rites will be held on Sunday, January 20th at 1:00 pm.

Memorials, offerings of prayers or financial aid may be coursed through the bereaved family, which would be of great help in arranging for Jien's eventual final trip back to the Philippines so that family back home could finally come to terms with their grief and hopefully start moving on with their lives as normally as possible.
