John Frederick Hausman, Jr.
1957 - 2019

John Frederick Hausman, Jr., 61, passed away on January 11, 2019. He retired from Multi-Metals after 30 plus years and was a member of Hope City Church. John was an avid UofL fan, enjoyed playing cards and going to the beach and the lake with his family. He was a wonderful and dear friend to everyone who knew him. John's main joy in life was spending time with his children and granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Frederick Hausman and Alice Hausman Turner and brothers, Jordan Ellis, J. Preston Ellis and Dennis Ellis.

John is survived by his children, Joshua Hausman, Jenna Hausman and Jordan Hausman; granddaughters, Haidyn Hardison, Chloe Hausman and Holland Hausman; sisters, Pamela (Steve) Ryan and Leslie (Phil) Ellis; former wife, Teri Hausman and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews who loved him very much.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 17, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 3pm-8pm and Friday, January 18, 2019, from 9am-11am with a celebration of John's life beginning at 11am.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that expressions of sympathy be made to a fund for his grandchildren's education, in c/o Steve Ryan, 7104 Hillcircle Court, Louisville, KY 40214.
