David was a hardworking provider for his family. With his hands, he made beautiful homes and things. He adored his family and friends and loved helping others, most of all he loved spending all of his free time with his four grandchildren.
He was born on October 7, 1954 in New Albany, Indiana to Hubert and Martha (Mitchell) Brown. He is preceded in death by his mother, Martha Brown.
David is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Lisa Brown; father, Hubert Brown; daughters, Nickole Brown (Jessica Jacobs), Rachel Brown (Wes Higginbotham) and Hope Zoll (Scott); grandchildren, Brody Zoll, Nolan Fierros, Lily Zoll and Everly Higginbotham; brother, Daniel Brown (Penny); sister, Bonnie Lemonds (Tom); and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10 am to 12 pm on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions East Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243), a service to honor the life of David will follow at 12 pm at the funeral home. A private burial will be held at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
The family requests that contributions in David’s memory be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
