Rhett Patterson Phelps, 50, A Navy Veteran, loving father, sibling, deeply committed fiancée, band member of One Louder and die-hard U of K fan of LaGrange, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2018.

He was born on March 25, 1968 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Festal "Pat" Phelps and Linda Phelps Neuner.

Rhett is survived by his loving daughter, Abigail Phelps; sons, Samuel Phelps and Russell Tindall; and grandson, Corbin Tindall. He is also survived by his siblings, "Patti" Phelps Bingham (Ernie) and Lori Kay Phelps Browning (Kevin); along with cousins in Kentucky, IN and CA.; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Newcomer Creations, Funerals & Receptions, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243 (in Middletown). Visitation will also be from 9:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at the funeral home with burial and Military graveside service in Kentucky Veteran Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky.

In lieu of flowers you may make a donation to AutoTruck Federal Credit Union the Rhett Phelps Children's Educational Fund.
