1952 - 2018

Duane Eugene Harbin, age 66 of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018. He was a 1971 graduate of Jeffersontown High School. Duane was a Navy Veteran who served aboard the USS Charles R. Ware during the Vietnam War and was a volunteer firefighter for over 10 years with Jeffersontown Fire Protection District. He was a mechanic with ProLift for over 28 years. His passion was farming from an early age. Duane was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Doris Tyler Harbin.

Duane leaves to cherish his memory his loving son, Nicholas; his loving partner, Kim Copeland; his former wife, Sandy Linebach Harbin; siblings, Sandy Beyerle (Bill), Pam Argabrite (Joe), Sherri DeWitt (Gary), Tina Martin (Ken) and Art Harbin (Carrie); 11 nieces and nephews, 11 great-nieces and nephews; many aunts and uncles; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 3-8 pm Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. A celebration of Duane's life will be 11am Wednesday, November 21st at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Chenoweth Run Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
