Josephine (Theiler) Renn, 82, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, of Lanesville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday morning, October 20, 2018. She was a member of Our Lady of the Pillar Catholic Church in Louisville. She enjoyed cooking and loved hosting company.

She was born on August 15, 1936 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Albert and Rose (Hilbert) Theiler. Josephine was also preceded in death by her devoted husband, Gerard Renn, Sr.; and siblings, Mary McDonald, Albert and Joseph Theiler.

Josephine is survived by her children, Gerard Renn, Jr., John Renn, Kathleen Hunter (Robert), Lora Votaw, Victoria Renn, Michael Renn (Leah), Daniel Renn; grandchildren, Rachael Rutledge (Sam), Hannah Votaw, Sarah, Benjamin, Lucas Hunter; and siblings, William Theiler (Joyce), Laura Morrison, Cecilia Hite (Dennis), Theresa Coffee, Veronica Melvin (Russell), Martha Parvin; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 3 PM to 8PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a rosary being prayed at 7 PM and on Thursday after 8 AM. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM at Our Lady of the Pillar Catholic Church (4049 South Fifth Street, Louisville, KY 40214) with burial to follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in New Albany, Indiana.
