John Allen Graves , 65, of Louisville, KY passed away on October 18, 2018. He worked at Goodwill Industries, Independent Industries, and Walmart for 30 years combined. He was a member of Christ Lutheran church. John enjoyed meeting people and making friends for life. He loved bowling, fishing, and Bats games (with his best friend George). He also enjoyed watching Pro Wrestling, MASH, Andy Griffith and other old TV shows. The family has such gratitude to the many people in John’s life that loved on him.

John was born on November 14, 1952, in Louisville, KY to the late Gordon L. Graves and Barbara Lotze Graves. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Jeffrey G. Graves and Dennis W. Graves. John is survived by his aunt, Carolyn O’Neal; brothers, Stephen L. Graves and Gary G. Graves (Kris); along with 4 nieces/nephews.

Visitation will be from 9:30 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville). His Funeral Ceremony will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - East Louisville with private burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Louisville.
