Lee Anthony Waters was born on February 17, 1956 in Cincinnati Ohio. He departed this life on Monday October 15, 2018. He is preceded in death by Biological parents, Mary E. Jackson (Mother) and William C. Grant (Father); Adoptive parents, Fannie and Walter Waters and a brother David F Jackson Jr.

Lee fulfilled his High School Education at Withrow High School in Cincinnati Ohio. He went on to hold positions as a laborer and manufacturer at Proctor & Gamble, Cincinnati Ohio, Clearshield in Louisiana, and multiple other positions in Louisville, Ky. Lee Was of Baptist donomination and was baptized at bedside, Nortons Hospital Louisville, Ky on August 7, 2018.

Lee was a kind man. Very intelligent and funny. He loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren very much. He would always push everyone to their full potential. He wanted everyone to be successful. He loved to play horse racing and watch CNN. He had a desire to eat all kinds of ethnic foods as well as soul food. He loved to try new things. He was a giver and he gave his all as long as possible to be here for his family. He was a fighter and never gave up easily.

Lee leaves to cherish his memory, 3 children, Lakisha Waters Shelby (Frank Shelby III), Marqueena Harris, and Walter Waters; 6 Grandchildren, Kinesha Brooks, Dasharay Crook, Jayvon Shelby, Frank Shelby IV, Jaila Shelby and Kevin Cornist, Jr.; 3 Great Grandchildren, Carmello Galvin, Aylani Coleman, Neveah Shelby; siblings, Sisters, Debra A Brooks (James), Darlene A.R Jackson (Tim); Brother, Michael Flowers; Cousins, Robert L Waters and Kenneth Ivan Waters. Extended Family, Companion Pamela Rucker; Grandson, Jashawn Shelby, and Great grandsons, Jamari and Jaceon Shelby; exwife, Lela Waters. He will be missed by tons of other family and friends.

A memorial gathering will be at newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Saturday, October 20, 2018 beginning at 12pm with a celebration of Lee's life beginning at 1pm.

Celebration of life dinner will be held immediately after at One Church, 1212 South 4th Street, Louisville, KY 40203.
