He was born on October 4, 1996 in Lagrange, Kentucky to Jack and Kristi (Plewinski) Scarborough.
Collin was baptized at the age of 8 at Centerfield Baptist Church. He was a technological wiz who built his first computer at the age of 9. His love for country, second only to God, led him to proudly serve in the Kentucky National Guard. His depth of understanding was matched by his quick wit. He is greatly loved by his family, and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his mother, Kristi Richards (Chris), father, Jack Scarborough (Kelly), sisters Riley, Sydney and Naomi Scarborough, step-sisters Olivia and Makaela Richards, uncles Korey Plewinski (Brooke), Joseph Scarborough (Laura), aunt Traci Hook (Andy), grandparents Frank and Cindy Plewinski, Jack and Jessie Scarborough, step-grandparents Cliff and Phyllis Carter and Betty Richards, many cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243).
Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 13, 2018 in the Chapel at Southeast Christian Church (920 Blankenbaker Parkway Louisville, KY 40243) followed by military honors at Louisville Memorial Gardens East (11601 Ballardsville Road Louisville, KY 40241).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in Collin’s memory be made to Active Heroes at www.activeheroes.org
