William Vernon "Bam Bam" Allen, 49, of Louisville, KY born on December 15, 1968, passed away on October 4, 2018. He was a hard worker, avid UofL fan, enjoyed hunting and was a pool shooter. Bam Bam was a master carpenter and an all around handy man. He was loyal to a fault and was always there for others.

He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Vernon Allen; brother, Timothy Allen; grandson, Michael Vernon Allen; grandparents, William H. Nipper and Flora K. Nipper and Noah and Macel Allen.

Bam Bam is survived by his children, Candace Brooke (Nate) Allen, Heather Michelle Allen and Jacob Todd Simon aka William Jacob Allen; grandchildren, Kenzee Allen and Wes Allen; mother, Yvonne (Doug) Gallagher; sister, Alicia (Mike) Wands; brothers, Mike (Debbie) Allen, John ( Missy) Wheeler, Michael (Melody) Stull and Donald Glen (Michelle) Allen and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be Sunday, October, 14, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Cremations, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 12pm-7pm with a celebration of his life beginning at 7pm.

A graveside service will be Monday, October 15, 2018, at Bethal Baptist Cemetery, 542 Levelwoods Road, New Hope, KY.
