Lonnie Cecil Walters, 69, passed away on September 16, 2018. He enjoyed restoring cars, drag racing, going to car shows and golfing. Lonnie loved spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Mae Walters; son, little Lonnie and parents, Johnie and Jane Walters.

Lonnie is survived by his children, Troy (Sandy) Walters, Alecia Walters and Tonia Alzaidy; grandchildren, Troy Walters, Jr,, Austin Walters, Christopher Walters, Brandon Green, Tyler Green, George Harr, III, and Basil Alzaidy; siblings, Donna (Charlie) King and Peggy (Roger) Taylor; numerous nieces and nephews and a special friend, Renee Roller.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 20, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 2pm-6pm with a celebration of Lonnie's life beginning at 6pm.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that expressions of sympathy be donated to Tonia for funeral expenses.
