Anna Marie Bailey was born on December 17, 1957 in Louisville, KY to Sarah Virginia Mitchell and Elmer Bailey, both of whom preceded her in death.

Anna Marie accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age and baptized at St. Stephen Baptist Church. She obtained her education at Parkland Junior Highschool and successfully graduated from Central High School in 1975.
Anna Marie was a beautiful woman with a loving spirit and opened her home to all who knew her. Her generosity extended beyond her immediate family and relatives to form everlasting relationships among friends. Those touched by her friendship will forever remember her giving nature, love and laughter.

Our beloved Anna Marie was called home to be with the Lord on Friday September 14, 2018 at the age of 60. To her legacy she leaves the celebration of life to her children Kevin Wilson and KenShawn Bailey; sister Sandra “Sugar” Lockhart; her dear friend Gwen Sheckles “a loving supportive” sister and friend, her grandchildren Derricka Wilson, Christopher Wilson, Kevin Wilson Jr., KenShawn Bailey-Washington, Ken’Yale “Babies” Marie’ Renee Bailey, Caleb Bailey, Ken’Trell “Bamboo” Bailey and host of nieces, nephews, family and dear friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Green Meadows Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
