Charlene Elizabeth (Fulks) Harrison, 78, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018. Charlene cared deeply for her family and was a devoted wife and mother. She was a lifetime member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she led the young adults and the Zion's League groups. She and her husband, Jim, were very involved with the Theatre Department at New Albany High School while their children attended. She toured across the United States as a member of the Baillie Players Theatrical Company with her husband and daughter. Charlene cherished the time she was able to spend with her daughter while touring and performing two different shows. In her free time she enjoyed vacationing in Walt Disney World where she created life long memories.

She was born on April 25, 1940, in Campton, Kentucky, to the late Charles and Myrtle (Ball) Fulks. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving Husband of 54 years, James "Jim" Harrison I; Son, James "Jamie" Harrison II; Brother, Charles D. Fulks; Brother, Robert N. Fulks; and Brother, Jack E. Fulks.

Charlene is survived by her Daughter, Jennifer Harrison McDonough (Tom); Sister, Stella G. Lowman; Sister, Rosaline Maymon (Irvin); and Daughter-In-Law, Jennifer Cash.

A Memorial Gathering will be from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). Her Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
