Sheila Kay Loheide Nettles, 64, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018. She was born on November 18, 1953, to the late Kenneth L. and Thelma Robison Loheide. Sheila worked at Saints Mary and Elizabeth Hospital for many years before moving to the Metro Sewer Department in Louisville where she retired. Sheila had no children, but was loved by everyone who knew her.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dale L. Loheide; and brother-in-law, Johnny Hiatt. She is survived by her sister, Beverly Loheide Hiatt; niece, Krista Hiatt Blankenbaker (Brent); nephew, John C. Hiatt; great-niece, Baeleigh Blankenbaker; and nephews, Braeden Blankenbaker and John Hunter Hiatt.

A Celebration of her life will take place on September 30 at 1:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post #42, 4530 Paoli Pike, Floyds Knobs, Indiana 47119. All friends and family are invited to attend.
