Lura D. Boone, 89, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on August 18, 2018. She retired from American Tobacco Company and was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Louisville.

Lura was born on August 26, 1928, Grayson County, Kentucky to the late James and Bridget (Guest) Milliner. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Leo Boone, and Son, Joseph Homer Milliner.

Lura is survived by her Daughter, Helen Gibson (Stanley), Daughter-In-Law, Renee Milliner,Grandchildren, Lura Marquess, Dorothy Goodlett (Michael), Glenn Gibson, Chris Milliner, Scott Milliner (Holly), Great Grandchildren, Angela Assemany (Brian), Donald J. Graf, Josh Milliner, Luke Milliner, Great Great Grandchildren, Bridget, Brian, Brandon and Bruce Assemany.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). A visitation will be held Thursday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am (Central Time) at St. Paul's Catholic Church (1821 Saint Paul Rd, Leitchfield, Ky), a funeral mass will follow at 11 am (Central Time) with burial at St. Paul's Cemetery.
