Sharon Yvonne Giles, 65, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on August 15, 2018. She was an employee of Humana-Military and was a member of New Jerusaleum Missionary Baptist Church.

Sharon was born on August 24, 1952 in Paris, Tennessee to the late Robert and Clara (Barksdale) Cowan. She was also preceded in death by her Grandson, Christopher Montrell Giles and Brother-in-law, Frederick Lee Giles.

Sharon is survived by her Husband, Charles Tyrone Giles Sr.; children, Xavier Bashan Giles (Paulie), and Tiffany Lysette Giles-Nelson (Edward Sr.), Brothers, RSGT Major Robert Ester Cowan, Jr. (Louise) and Billy Lakeith Cowan (Carla) , Sisters, Fredda Mae Mason and Elizabeth Denise Cole (Michael), Beloved Mother-in-law, Willie Mae Giles, 7 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren, Sisters-in-law, Carolina Yanders (CB), Rhonda Lyle (Henry), Winfred Tharpe (Steve), Lacqulia Phyall, Sharon Giles-Cole and a host of Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). Her Memorial Service will be held Saturday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
