Jean Frances (Luna) Holman, 94, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018. She was a charter member of Ralph Avenue Baptist Church in Louisville, a long-time member of Indian Creek Baptist Church, and later in life attended First Southern Baptist Church in Floyds Knobs. Jean taught Sunday school for many years and retired from BF Goodrich in Louisville as their plant manager’s secretary.

She was born on July 19, 1924, to the late Erskine and Frances M. (Ellison) Luna. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Holman; sister, Sara Luna; and brothers, Dale and Douglas Luna.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Carlen House (David); grandchildren, Jeffrey House, Robert House, and Donna Hickerson House; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Cody and Rachael; and great-great-grandchildren, Layla and Tristan.

A Private Gathering will be held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Greenlawn Cemetery in Greenville, Indiana.
