She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Rebecca Mae Buchanan and Add Joseph Buchanan; brothers, Doyal and William Buchanan; mother-in-law, Nesta Bruce; brother in-law, James “Butch” Bruce; son-in-laws, Arvin Dance and James Egan, as well as her precious grandson, Anthony James “AJ” Egan.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Richard Bruce; daughters, Terri Dance and Toni Egan, a son, Mike Bruce (Kristal); two granddaughters, Angela (Kyle) Burns, Kelsey Egan (David) and three grandsons, Conner, Jackson and Jason. She loved her three great- grandchildren, Dakota, Drew and Demi Rose. She will be missed by her sisters, Lorene Edwards, Kathleen Hornback and Norma (Glenn) Milburn; sister-in-law, Carol (Tim) Peak and brother-in-law, Kenny Bruce and his children, Tiffany and Kenny. She will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, June 15, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 4pm-8pm. A celebration of Linda's life will be Saturday, June 16, 2018, beginning at 11am at the chapel of the funeral home.
A private graveside service will be Monday, June 18, 2018, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central, Radcliff, KY.
