Patricia "Pat" Vertrees, 84, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on June 8, 2018. She retired from K-mart and was a veteran of The United States of America Navy.

Pat was born on March 14, 1934, Westminster, Maryland to the late Thomas and Antonia (Barrenbreger) Smith. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband Carl T.Vertrees and a granddaughter, Jennifer Zinninger; and six sisters.

Pat is survived by her children, Kimberly Vertrees, Valerie Basil, Robin Adams, Kerry Vertrees and Carl L Vertrees; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends to cherish her memory.

To honor Pat's wishes her services will all be private at a later date.
