Georgia Spencer, 89, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on May 31, 2018.
Georgia was a former art teacher in Illinois and more recently an artist, interior designer and owner of Georgene Studio Gallery, before retiring to Louisville KY.
Georgia was born on September 13, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Peter and Bernadine (Basile) Hatzis. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Nikki Jasker, former-husband, Harold "Spence" Spencer and former-husband, William D. Cotter.
Georgia is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Cotter Rausch (Curt) and grandson, Jason Rausch (Janelle), nephew Jim Sedares (Lorna) and great niece Lisa Sedares.
Visitation will be on Sunday June 17, 2018 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville) A brief memorial service will be at 4:00pm.
