Marjorie Louise (Michel) Pierson, 90, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Monday morning, May 14, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was a Christian by faith and retired as a seamstress.

Marjorie was born on October 19, 1927, in Chicago, Illinois to the late William and Estelle A. (Keilman) Michel. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Norman Michel and Helen Smith.

She is survived by her children, Diana Lynn Brown (Will), Cindy Miller (Larry), Linda Ellis (Barry), and Danny Pierson (Linda); 9 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from 10AM-1PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane New Albany, IN 47150). Her Funeral Service will follow at 1PM on Wednesday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in New Albany.
